Charlotte Desorgher trained as a dancer and gained a degree in Dance and Education from London University . She has been bellydancing professionally since 1981, learning from watching dancers in the Arab clubs at the height of London 's nightclub boom and then subsequently living for a year in Bahrain . She now teaches eight classes a week in Croydon as well as organising highly regarded haflas and other events. Charlotte is also in demand as a performer and teaches at festivals such as Fantasia and Celebrating Dance.

Charlotte continues her professional development by taking private lessons with Serena Ramzy, by attending master classes and by travelling regularly to Cairo to keep abreast of the latest trends and take private lessons with her favourite dancers.

Sarah is a highly experienced performer and qualified dance instructor. She has over 28 years of dance experience, 13 of those dedicated to the study, performance and teaching of belly dance. She teaches regular weekly classes in the Essex area (Egyptian Cabaret and ATS), and she performs all over the UK. Her style is predominantly Egyptian, but she includes elements of Turkish and Lebanese styles fused with Latin American, in which she competed at professional level. She recently had the privilege of performing in Hossam and Serena Ramzy's show in Bristol. Performances include Isis Wings, veils, sword and zills. Sara Shrapnell is an international performer and full time teacher who
is committed to the development of Middle Eastern Dance in the UK,
partly through her work with ASMED and WADA. She loves all styles of

A naturally talented dancer, Eva brings a passionate and impeccable interpretation of Middle Eastern music to her performing and teaching. I have been teaching and performing belly dance for 13 years. I have always taught within a framework of Goddess spirituality. I also teach psychology, run self-esteem workshops for women and teambuilding events.

I have a degree in psychology/women’s studies and have professional qualifications in holistic healing and stress management. I hold a teaching cert.

I regularly perform to a wide variety of audiences, -including Arabic and Turkish people, festivals, nightclubs, weddings Culture days, community events etc.I teach and perform dances from the Middle East including cabaret belly dance.

As well as dance workshops I have hosted a variety of team building and personal growth workshops. E.g. RSPCA. Women’s aid, junior and senior schools and cultural organisations. I have hosted many powerful and transformative events. I have worked with a wide variety of people from professional dancers to users of women ‘s aid services, school children, and the transgendered. I also collaborate with artist’s musicians and film makers.

Dance is a metaphor for life, - we move to the rhythm of the music in our own way. Self-discovery is a prerequisite for self-mastery. Through the dance we can learn to exceed what we think our body can do and yet to know its limitations.
